Spring NOTD
I absolutely love, love, love pink nail polishes. There are soo many shades to choose from that work great all year long, not to mention pink is timeless!
Go with a soft pink for Spring and Summer and a deeper pink for Fall and Winter.
I am head over heels for this perfectly girly, baby doll pink for Spring.
Polish is by Wet n Wild in the color "402". I believe I got mine at Walgreens.

Palmolive Fresh Infusions
I am so excited!!! I just received Palmolive Fresh Infusions dish soap from Influenster. I was really surprised when I opened the box to see...not one bottle, not two bottles, but THREE complimentary full size bottles of Palmolive's new dish soap (as I jump and down in my kitchen!!
The Fresh Infusions line comes in 3 scents.
At first glance, I fell in love with the packaging! Sleek, colorful, and modern. Pretty enough to store on my counter top without it looking like I live in a frat house.
Second, these scents! Palmolive describes their Fresh Infusions line as "inviting, naturally inspired fragrance blends". OH.MY.GOSH. Hands down the best smelling dish soap. My front runner is definitely Ginger White Tea (I want to shower with it), but each of them now holds a special place in my nose.
The sud factor is of the charts but you can now forget about rinsing for minutes upon minutes. These puppies rinse away easy and do not leave a film on your dishes. S-P-A-R-K-L-I-N-G clean! Palmolive Fresh Infusions is now a staple in our home. Go to your local Walmart, AND FAST, to get these little gems.
Go to Palmolive's website for more information. And if you like the Fresh Infusions line as much as I do, go to Influenster and review them!

Nail of the Day
Here's a quick nail of the day (NOTD).
I used Essie's "bahama mama". I think this is the absolute perfect fall/winter nail color!! My accent nail is part of Essie's Winter collection, called "beyond cozy". The color is truer in the first photo without flash. I'll definitely be wearing this color for months to come.

His & Hers Protein Pancakes
Today I am sharing, with you, our all time favorite breakfast...PROTEIN PANCAKES!!!
Now, we first had protein pancakes at a local breakfast joint and loved them but could never quite figure out how they made them. This was great for their business, not so much on our wallets. About a year ago, I discovered Tone It Up. If you don't know what Tone It Up is check out their website (Tone It Up). These girls, Karena and Katrina, will change your life! :)
Anyways, they have a protein pancake recipe that is soooo yummy, yummy, yummy. This recipe became our go to breakfast that was conveniently available at home and super healthy. Lets get started...
Directions:
1. Mash half of a banana in small bowl.
2. Pour in egg whites, flaxseed, and protein powder. Mix well. May add more egg whites or protein powder until consistency is that of pancakes.
3. Spray your skillet with cooking spray. Cook each side on medium heat until done.
Tip: When bubbles form in batter....time to flip!
4. Top with your favorite pancake goodies. I love to add almond butter and the other half of the banana to mine!
NOW...the man of the house keeps to a pretty low carb and no sugar diet (this includes most fruits). And since bananas have a high sugar content he didn't want to "indulge" (seriously they are that good) in these pancakes too often and had to miss out! :( Well, one day were shopping at Trader Joe's and saw this amazing creation...Almond Meal/Flour!! Why hadn't we noticed this before? We decided to get it and try a little experimenting at home to create his version of a protein pancake! It didn't take many tries or substitutions to get it PERFECT!

2. Spray your skillet with cooking spray. Cook each side on medium heat until done.
3. Top with yummy goodies :)
This is the protein powder we use. Its called Perfect Fit protein. It's made by Tone It Up and is an absolutely amazing product. It conveniently comes in individual packets or large bag with a scoop. Learn more here: Perfect Fit. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing this brand (side note: not getting paid to say that) because it gives the pancakes the most amazing texture, but we have tried other protein powders that work just fine too.

Mini Grocery Insta-Haul
I know a lot of people grocery shop once a week to once every other week. I've tried that and can't make it work for us. I like to make 2 small trips to the grocery store a week. I find that doing it this way will prevent food from going bad and increase our chances of eating at home more often by including a greater variety of foods to our fridge.
This was just a quick late night trip to pick up a few things I was craving that seemed to be missing every time I looked in our cupboards/refrigerator!
Most of the time convenience wins over price. Although the occasional steep price has been known to make me cringe {out loud}, I know that if things are super convenient I WILL eat healthy. And in the end our health is price-less!!!

Hint water- Water with an unsweetened hint of flavor....SOO good & refreshing
Almond Nut Thins- I love these as a snack with those little laughing cow cheese triangles
Fresh cut fruit- mixed red/green grapes & strawberries/kiwi
Bear Naked granola- one of the healthiest yummiest granola brands I have found
Luna Bars- by far my most FAV bar
Smart Water- these liter bottles ensure I am drinking plenty of water on the go

Sally Hansen Salon Effects
The next item that I absolutely LOVED from my Influenster Spring beauty VoxBox were the Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips. I received them in the "Laced Up" #360 design .I have tried a different brand of nail strips in the past that I was not impressed with {required a hair dryer...seriously?}, so I was a little nervous.
My first impressions:
It took my about 15-20 minutes to get all 10 fingers looking snazzy! There were a few hiccups in the beginning but after getting the hang of it (about 3 fingers through) I felt like a pro. I was able to go about my day {cleaning the house} without waiting for my nails to dry!
They say they are supposed to last up to 10 days. As a nurse, I wash my hands constantly so they will definitely be put to the test. Overall, I am head-over-heels with these little gems! I am not crazy about the design {I am more of a solids girl}, but with over 40 designs available, I am heading to the store now to pick my favorites.

This was going be quick and easy {no hair tools required}
I can do this ANYWHERE because everything you need is in the box

Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist
I recently participated in my first VoxBox program by Influenster. I'm usually so skeptical to try new products without good reviews from friends/family, so I felt like this was the perfect opportunity to find new treasures for myself! I am so excited that I can now be the one to recommend certain goodies with everyone!
One of my favorite products from the VoxBox was this fragrance mist from Bath & Body Works:
This is a fine mist spray that goes on so lightly but leaves a very long lasting scent!! With the weather heating up, I don't want to wear a heavy perfume but other body sprays have a scent that only lasts a few hours, this is the PERFECT in between product. I loved the Paris Amour scent (very girly) but it comes in many different scents, some are even your tried and true Bath & Body Works favorites. Go to their website (http://www.bathandbodyworks.com) to find your favorite!!

Stars in the Sky
I have been so anxious for the weather to cool down here in Arizona. We are almost in November and still experiencing 90 degree weather. <sigh> This shirt has little gold specks on it and reminds me of a bright night sky full of stars.
While it's still warmer and Spring-like, I am taking full advantage of wearing bright colors!! I just love those shoulder cutouts :)
I cannot wait to cozy up in some warmer clothes but in the meantime, I am getting FULL use out of my spring/summer wardrobe...and for that I am thankful!!

Welcome. Bonjour. Hola. Ciao
Hi all.
I created this blog as a place to express my passion for clothes and fashion {yes I think they are 2 different things}. Creating videos for YouTube {http://www.youtube.com/user/fashionMAGable} has become more difficult with some recent schedule changes, so this can be a quicker mode of delivering my outfits to you guys. If this blog is well received, I plan to make it much bigger, prettier, and more useful {so help me achieve that}! :) The first post should be up shortly and I look forward to talking with ya'll soon!! xoxo
